Carol Thayer
I began my Real Estate Career in the field of New Home Sales in 2005 and transitioned to general real estate in 2012. Having experienced a four year downturn in our industry, I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the strong market we have today. I LOVE what I do for a living and consider it a privilege to help others navigate through the process of buying and selling real estate.
I am married, a mother of four, and have a passion for helping people. My family and I moved to Wilson County in 1999 and we are proud to call it “home.”
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, cooking, decorating, and home design. I enthusiastically embrace the life God has given me and encourage others to do so also!

Geri Forkum:
Geri (Cook) Forkum is a life-long resident of Middle Tennessee, having grown up on the family farm in Halls Mill, a small rural community on the Duck River in Bedford County. A graduate of Community High School in Unionville, TN and Middle Tennessee State University (B.S. Mass Communications/Advertising/Marketing), Geri has loved living in Wilson County since 1988. Geri is a proven professional with a strong background in sales and marketing in both the real estate industry and broadcast communications (cable television and radio.) She like to say that she has worked "in, out and around the real estate business since the mid '90's." Skilled in sales, team building, networking, marketing, business development and account management, being a part of the Thayer Real Estate Group is an easy, natural fit for her. Geri has an eye for beauty, design and function...keen attributes that have morphed into her favorite part of the business, home staging... a complimentary service that the Thayer Real Estate Group offers to clients. Transforming a home into a welcoming, attractive product really excites her and she loves working with the homeowners to achieve this mission. Robin Johnson
In 1992 I began to do property Management and by 95 I was also purchasing properties for rent and to flip. Between 95 and 2010, for myself and many investors, I purchased 85-90 and opened my own property management company. Real Estate has always been a huge part of my life. I love working with buyers and sellers... I love helping find their FIRST dream home or to transition into a new home due to current needs!

Ashley Robertson
Semi new to Wilson County, Ashley and her family have quickly grown fond of the county's friendly atmosphere and thriving communities. Living in the heart of Mount Juliet and working within real estate, in and around Wilson County, she has been able to witness first hand the growth and development that has hit Middle Tennessee. Ashley is the newest member to TREG and serves as the administrative assistant to the team. With years of experience in Office Management and Customer Service, Ashley is naturally comfortable keeping all of the balls in the air, when it comes to the fast paced world of real estate. She truly values the opportunity to be part of this team and work with such dedicated professionals. Working with people, in any compacity, has always been a passion for her and in this business, she has found another way to explore and expand that passion. In her downtime she lives by, "there are always memories to be made and experiences to be had." If she's not at home, her and her family are usually out and about all over this wonderful state. From hitting the trials and camping across its cities, to exploring the endless new restaurants or trendy spots around town, but most of all she enjoys quality time with her family and friends.
David Thayer
I was born in the heart of the south in Atlanta, GA to Carol and Jay Thayer who blessed me with three younger sisters, all of us 17 months apart to the day! In 1998 my father was able to transfer for work to Colorado Springs, CO where we lived for 5 years. It was there that I learned to ski and mountain bike, hobbies I still enjoy today. Alas, the rest of our extended family remained in the south and it made since to move to Tennessee. I’ve been a proud Tennessean ever since.
I went to Lebanon High School and then on to college at Middle Tennessee State University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. I love living in Tennessee for a multitude of reasons but some of my favorite aspects are the beautiful scenery, wild life, lakes and rivers. I am an avid outdoorsmen and love all the hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and boating that Tennessee has to offer its residents.
After working in the IT business for years I made the decision to make a career change and follow my mother into the Real Estate business. I absolutely love all aspects of the real estate business. I am a people person and helping people with finding the most important investment of their lives is something very special to me. I especially like working with first time home buyers and helping to navigate the waters of the home buying process. I also love meeting new people and look forward to the future. Go Titans!
